II. The Task
A. Task One: Prediction
1. Reviewing the Resumes and Watch the Interviews
- Objective: Understand the background, experience, skills, and overall profile of each candidate.
- Instructions:
- Carefully read through both resumes.
- Note any specific strengths, weaknesses, or unique aspects of each candidate's profile.
- Consider the role requirements when assessing each candidate's qualifications.
- We do not expect that you watch the entire interview. However, please read through the transcript.
2. Evaluating Key Dimensions
For each candidate, please rate them on the following dimensions using the provided 5-point Likert scale [1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent)]:
- Relevance to Query
- Considerations: How closely does the candidate's experience and skills match the specific requirements of the role?
- Example: A candidate with direct, extensive experience in the role would score a 5, while one with little relevant experience would score lower.
- Domain Excellence
- Considerations: Assess the depth and quality of the candidate's expertise in the relevant domain.
- Example: A candidate recognized for outstanding achievements in their field would score higher, while one with limited accomplishments would score lower.
- Communication Ability
- Considerations: Evaluate how well the candidate communicates their qualifications, both in the structure of their resume and the clarity of their descriptions.
- Example: A well-organized resume with clear, impactful descriptions of experience would score higher, while a poorly organized or vague resume would score lower.
3. Providing Qualitative Feedback
- Objective: Offer insights into your decision-making process.
- You will use reasoning that follows the template below (this template will be available on the platform):
Template:
- Relevance to Query: Describe how well the candidate’s background, skills, and experience align with the specific needs of the query. Consider specific examples from the resume that demonstrate a strong match between the candidate’s qualifications and the requirements of the query.
- Domain Excellence: Assess the depth of the candidate’s knowledge and practical experience in the relevant domain(s). Highlight any notable achievements, certifications, or projects that showcase the candidate’s expertise and excellence in the field.
- Communication Ability: Evaluate the candidate’s ability to communicate effectively, focusing on the clarity, structure, and fluency of their responses. Provide examples of well-articulated points or evidence of strong English proficiency that contribute to the candidate’s ability to convey complex information clearly.
4. Making the Final Decision
